2. General information

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit GamesLP. The public website is primarily delivered as a static website. It currently provides neither user registration nor a contact form. The former forum is available only as a non-interactive archive.

3. Website delivery and server logs

When you access the website, technically necessary data may be processed. This can include your IP address, date and time, requested URL, amount of data transferred, HTTP status, referrer, browser information and operating system. This processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain a stable service and prevent misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log data is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes, unless legal retention duties or a specific security incident require longer storage.

4. Hosting

The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The hosting provider processes data required for the technical operation of the website on our behalf.

5. Historical forum archive

GamesLP contains a read-only archive of earlier forum posts. It may include the display names chosen at the time and the content users published. The archive preserves discussions and content that form part of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Affected persons may request correction or removal of content concerning them by using the email address above.

6. Google AdSense and cookies

After obtaining any consent required by law, GamesLP may use Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver ads, measure their performance, prevent misuse and – depending on your consent – personalise advertising.

Google may select ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Processing for personalised advertising takes place only with consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform and can be changed or withdrawn there at any time with effect for the future.

This privacy policy page itself does not load Google advertising tags or advertising cookies that require consent.

7. External links

The website may contain links to external services. The respective providers are responsible for their data processing. Data is transferred to an external provider only when you open such a link.

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
